282 Below – Death Valley’s Badwater Basin captured by Ayla El-Moussa for 25th Century. It’s one of the lowest points in the world sitting 282 feet below sea level. The site itself consists of a small spring-fed pool of “bad water” next to the road in a sink; the accumulated salts of the surrounding basin make it undrinkable, thus giving it the name.
A desolate space where our souls were calmed and our eyes fed.
