Close your eyes and just imagine, you are wearing this perfectly cut Tom Ford suit. A beautiful brunette approaches you holding a martini, she passes you by, but you are not worried. You know that two steps later, she will turn her head to the left and her warm, but cheeky smile will invite you to dare. Some minutes later, you both exchange cheers and somehow you end up introducing yourself:
– Bond, James Bond.
Wouldn’t that be marvellous? Now, open your eyes and know that pretty soon your dream may come true. Just wait until February (and February is really just around the corner), because Christie’s has big plans and it is ready to share!
With Spectre’s release on Digital HD, Blue-ray™ and DVD, Christie’s, the big auction house will mark the occasion by presenting a unique opportunity to acquire memorabilia from the film — with 24 lots straight from the archives of EON Productions, as well as donations from Daniel Craig, Sam Mendes, Jesper Christensen (Mr White in Spectre, Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace), Bond producers Michael G.Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, and artist Sam Smith, who co-wrote the official award-winning Spectre theme song. The generous spirit doesn’t stop here, all proceeds will benefit Médecins sans Frontières (MSF), the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) and other charities.
Bidding opens February, Tuesday 16 to Tuesday 23 at christies.com/spectreonline
And don’t forget, diamonds, are forever.
Now, if you can’t seem to make up your mind on that Aston Martin, you can always take a second look at the Maserati that our Editor In Chief, Ioannis, drove last weekend. Oh, and happy shoppings.
