Maybe Karl Lagerfeld has never set foot in a supermarket, but he set out to create a supermarket as a setting for his fall 2014/winter 2015 Chanel Ready-to-Wear show. He turned the Grand Palais into an enormous, fancy stocked Chanel hypermarket. The shelves of his extraordinarily detailed set were stacked with more than a hundred thousand items.
