Frieze New York, 2016

This year’s Frieze  New York had all that jazz that we’re looking to in an art fair. From Adele and Eva strolling hand-in-hand, to all smiles Jerry Saltz. Leonardo DiCaprio was there with his signature cap trying to get unrecognized (we felt sorry and decided not to put one extra camera in his face). On the glamorous side, Alexa Chung with Derek Blasberg brought a vogue touch as the best-dressed in the art world.

This year’s star was the Gagosian gallery that delivered the highly anticipated booth with Damien Hirst’s greatest hits (including pickled sharks, butterfly painting and brand new, 2016 spot paintings).  We have been rooting for these two to get back together and just like the movies the happy end brought tears to our eyes (well, almost).

There were many hits and missed, but since we like to play nice, we’ve only gathered what caught our attention (in a good way). Scroll below and enjoy the visuals.
