Gallery Weekend 2015 / Athens and Thessaloniki

The Hellenic Art Galleries Association, organises once again in collaboration with the organizing team of Art-Athina, a cultural weekend dedicated to galleries in Athens and Thessaloniki.

The organisers’ goal is to make this event an additional way to Art-Athina of enhancing the visibility of contemporary art, mainly a celebration that will give the opportunity to the general public to browse the two cities, discovering the most interesting artistic side of them. Furthemore, visitors will get to know, through the exhibitions presented by the galleries, a condensed version of the visual landscape of the country.

For the convenience of the public and the promotion of the event a map-guide will be distributed in the galleries of both cities, with the detailed programme of exhibitions and artists, while all additional information can be found on

Participating galleries will welcome the public on Saturday 12 December from 11:00 to 18:00 and Sunday 13 December from 11:00 to 15:00. The entrance is free.
