Paramount has just released five simultaneous teasers for its 2017 Ghost in the Shell live-action adaptation starring Scarlett Johansson. Each teaser offers a tantalising morsel of information about what the film has in store. Directed by Rupert Sanders, the film lifts its story from the renowned Kodansha Comics sci-fi manga series. Scarlett Johansson plays Kusanagi, a special ops cyborg who leads a counter-cyberterrorist organization called Public Security Section 9 for Hanka Robotics. The story follows Kusanagi along with her unit as they set out to stop some of the most dangerous criminals in the world, led by the extremist The Laughing Man.
