Christian Kerez, Head of ETH Zurich’s Institute for Design and Architecture, and curator Sandra Oehy speak about Incidental Space, the Swiss contribution for the Swiss Pavilion in the Giardini at the 15th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia. Entitled Incidental Space, the installation of an experimental, inhabitable object was driven by a desire to not only exhibit architecture, but to create a space specific to the Pavilion. Kerez and Oehy set out to create “a primary, essential experience of architectonical space.”
