The Galleries of LISTE 2016

Since its inception in 1996, LISTE – Art Fair Basel has dedicated itself to the active promotion of galleries and artists of a young and middle generation and to introducing new highly promising galleries from all over the world to an international audience each year.

This year the LISTE jury – composed exclusively of museum experts – has selected 79 galleries from 34 countries from over 350 applicants. Among those are 11 galleries appearing for the first time at LISTE: two from the US and one each from Egypt, Germany, Ecuador, England, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Portugal, and Switzerland. A young and middle generation of galleries will show highly promising solo presentations and exciting group positions at LISTE.
